PRICES AND CURRENCIES:
Final invoices as well as all prices will be displayed in Euro (EUR). The final amount debited to Credit Card and PayPal accounts may vary based on currency fluctuations and bank commissions. Bricklane.com encourages Customers to contact their local bank to receive an accurate price conversion list along with any bank commission related to the transaction.
PAYMENT METHODS:
Bricklane.com reserves the right to amend any Payment Method provided on the website at any time. The available choice of the currently accepted Payment Methods will be displayed at the time of purchase.
Once an order has been completed Bricklane.com will submit an invoice, a copy of which will be attached to the package containing the order. For invoicing purposes, any information provided herein by the Customer will prevail. Once a final invoice is issued by bricklane.com it cannot be subject to change.
Any private information shared by the Customer with bricklane.com will only be used to complete sale and refund procedures (in case they were exercising their right of withdrawal).
Bricklane.com currently accepts the following Payment Methods:
CREDIT CARD
Customers are guaranteed maximum online security as all Credit Card transactions are processed by Stripe. Once the order details are submitted, the Customer will be transferred to PayPal’s secure web page where they will be able to use their Credit Card to complete their order in accordance with PayPal Terms of Use.
PAYPAL
Bricklane.com only accepts payments from Verified PayPal account Users. Bricklane.com will only ship to the address displayed on a Customer’s Verified Paypal Account. Once the order details are submitted, the Customer will be transferred to PayPal’s secure web page where they will be able to use the Method of Payment linked to their accounts to complete their order, in accordance with PayPal Terms of Use. The final amount will be charged to the Customer’s PayPal account while the order confirmation will be simultaneously sent to bricklane.com.
ORDER CHANGES
We remind Customers that once an order is placed and a final invoice issued, no changes can be made to that order.
PROMO CODES
Customers that have been issued with a bricklane.com Promo Code by newsletter, through social networks or approved promotional websites can insert the Code at the time of purchase. Promo Codes are not cumulative and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.
GIFT CARDS
Bricklane.com gift card:
- is redeemable exclusively online, on any article featured on bricklane.com;
- can be either printed or sent directly to the recipient or sender’s e-mail address;
- has validity of 1 year;
- can be used towards one or more purchases;
- can be used towards an order of greater value than the Gift Card amount;
- can be used in conjunction with other bricklane.com Gift Cards of varying amounts towards one purchase. Please contact customercare@bricklane.com to receive a cumulative code;
- cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards;
- cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.
Orders placed with Gift Cards can be returned. If the purchased item(s) is returned for a refund, the entire amount of the order will be credited back to the same Gift Card (based on the condition of the item(s) and/or the non-compliance with our Return Policy).
Bricklane.com Gift Cards are anonymous and therefore bricklane.com cannot be held responsible for the misuse of lost or stolen cards. Please contact customercare@bricklane.com to report any lost or stolen Gift Cards. Bricklane.com reserves the right to refuse orders placed with Gift Cards that may be invalid, fraudulent or the result of code duplication.
Orders placed with Gift Cards are subject to the same standard commercial terms and privacy policies published on bricklane.com.
STORE CREDIT
Store Credit can be requested as an alternative to a refund for all returning merchandise and/or in case the requested item(s) is no longer available. Store Credit can only be used once and within 1 year from its date of issue. It must be used in its entirety on an order that is either greater than or equal to the value of the Store Credit. Store Credit that is not used within the 12 months time limit, will necessarily result in a partial refund that will not be cumulative with other Store Credit.
SHIPMENT AND IMPORT FEES
Bricklane.com delivers worldwide from Vigevano, Italy by either GLS, DHL or FedEx courier services. Bricklane.com does not currently deliver to P.O. Boxes. In accordance with international laws regulating the commerce and trade of imports and exports, all bricklane.com orders will be shipped complete with an official invoice declaring the total amount of the order, which will be displayed in Euro (EUR). It is illegal to declare a lower amount or to declare the item(s) as gift(s) with the intent to avoid import taxes, as per international import regulations. Shipment is free and with no additional import fees. Prices displayed in the final invoice are ALL INCLUSIVE, meaning that the price will be inclusive of shipping costs and import fees and reflecting any IVA/VAT (Value Added Tax) Exemption.
IMPORTER REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CUSTOMERS
Bricklane.com does not currently have a branch in the U.S.A. dealing with the import of its orders, therefore Customers are considered as the direct importers. Private U.S.A. citizens and non-U.S.A. citizens residing in the U.S.A. who import internet goods from abroad, are required to have a Social Security Number and must release this number willingly to the express courier or agent. Non-U.S.A. citizen/resident who DO NOT have a USA Social Security can alternatively provide a CBP – Customs Border Protection – assigned number. The process to obtain a CBP assigned import number normally lasts around 10 business days. SHIPMENT DATE
Orders are shipped directly from bricklane.com (Vigevano, Italy) Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m – 5:30 p.m (CET) Orders placed on Friday evening after 5:30 p.m, Saturday, and Sunday will be processed the following Monday morning. Bricklane.com has a limited stock and therefore offers the possibility to pre-order. Shipping date is estimated within 2-3 business days from receiving payment. In case of pre-orders, the article will be shipped within 15 days from receiving payment. Orders placed after the 10th of August will be delivered in the first half of September as the shoe factory will be closed for the Italian holiday period. If in need of an Express Delivery, please contact us at customarecare@bricklane.com before placing the order. An extra shipping fee might be added.
SHIPMENT TRACKING
When the order is shipped for delivery, Customers will be provided with a tracking number as well as a direct link to monitor the shipment status. In the event of any delays by Customs, Clients will be notified either directly by the courier and/or by bricklane.com.
SHIPMENT DELIVERY
When receiving an order, Customers are invited to inspect the box carefully BEFORE signing for the delivery. If for any reason, the box appears to have been tampered with, either sign for the package with reservations or refuse the package. In the event that the box has been signed for with an unauthorised signature or there is evidence that the package has been tampered with, Customers are encouraged to immediately open a claim with their local GLS, FedEx or DHL Office and to contact us at customarecare@bricklane.com. If a package cannot be successfully delivered to the Customer’s address due to the Customer’s lack of cooperation (wrong telephone number, wrong address, absent at address, non-compliance with import regulations), in compliance with bricklane.com commercial agreement, the package may risk being sent back to Italy at the Customer’s expense (including any import fees that may be imposed upon re-entry to Italy). These fees will be deducted from any eventual reimbursement.
SHIPMENT DOCUMENTS FOR EXOTIC PELTS
Shipments from bricklane.com containing an item made from an exotic pelt destined to Countries outside of the European Union, require by law an extra document called C.I.T.E.S. (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna). This document functions as a passport for the item, explaining that the pelt used in the manufacturing process comes from an animal bred specifically for commerce and not taken from the wild. For more information please visit: www.cites.org .The document is issued from the Fishing Wildlife and Game Custom’s Office and takes around 14 days to be processed. To obtain this document, C.I.T.E.S requires the fiscal invoice and thus the Client’s Credit Card WILL BE DEBITED BEFORE SHIPMENT. The shipment will be delayed according to the documents’ standard processing times.
SHIPMENT INSURANCE
Bricklane.com shipments are insured against theft and accidental damage at no additional cost to the Client. Once the shipment reaches its destination, the item(s) is no longer covered by insurance.
