The whole process begins with the selection of the leather, which is carefully hand-picked and then cut by hand into the shape of the upper. Once this operation is complete, it is followed by the next stage of production which is the stitching and padding process. The application of the stitching is a long and meticulous task which demands a lot of expertise as it requires for the thread to be invisible to the eye while, at the same time, avoiding direct contact with the skin. This results in the upper being almost completely free of visible stitching. This particular technique is not only pleasant to the eye, but it also allows the foot for more movement and comfort.
After being lasted by hand, the upper finally enters the last stage of production which consists in the application of the sole. This is also done entirely by hand and following extremely artisanal techniques that guarantee more softness, flexibility and, above all, transpiration.
